MCPP offers a wide variety of classes and class times, in order to best meet the needs of your child.
A typical daily schedule includes significant free choice time as well as teacher-directed activities where children are encouraged to participate in hands-on projects. These activities are designed to promote an appreciation for and to bolster skill levels in math, language arts, science, social studies and art. Group circle time, story time, show-and-tell and music/creative movement are also part of the daily routine. Children go outdoors daily in all but extreme weather conditions. A healthy snack is provided and time is either set aside to enjoy as a group or used as part of the learning process in “snacktivity.”
